•Equine and Nontraditional Therapy: Payments to providers for equine or animal-assisted therapy and other evidence-based interventions to improve youth wellness. Includes support for Medicaid-approved therapists in underserved areas.
•Emergency Services: Assistance for essential needs-housing, food, utilities, transportation, and home safety repairs-to ensure youth and families remain stable.
•Respite Care: Funding for overnight or day camps, providing caregivers and youth opportunities to rest and recharge.
•Sensory / Family Bonding / Wellness: Purchases of sensory tools and wellness activities such as family camps, therapeutic games, art supplies, and stress-relief items.
•Caregiver Supports: Parent coaching, educational interventions, and support resources for caregivers.
Training: Staff development and partner training opportunities.
Mission Statement:
“Committed to supporting kinship caregivers through resource navigation, trauma-informed programming, and community engagement. The organization’s mission focuses on responding to the increasing number of grandparents and kinship caregivers stepping into parental roles—often unexpectedly and with limited access to formal support.”
Family bonding and community wellness events.
Emergency stipends and regional mini-grants for families in need.
Culturally-informed workshops and caregiver support initiatives.
Mission Statement: “Foster care, grow hope, always serve! Divinity’s goal is to lead the State of Texas in providing hope and healing for children who have been removed and placed in foster care.”
•Post-permanency case management and caregiver support.
•Respite services and family bonding activities.
•Staff and partner professional training initiatives.
Mission Statement: “Artvango’s therapeutic approach incorporates visual arts, music, movement, and play—creating multisensory pathways to healing for children who often cannot articulate pain verbally. This holistic method supports emotional regulation, builds self-esteem, and fosters long-term mental wellness.”
•Clinicians provide trauma-informed expressive therapy to children in the foster and adoptive care community who are victims of crime and have experienced trauma.
•Clinicians identify issues related to victimization and trauma and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
•Counseling sessions are designed to help children move forward from trauma and build healthy skills for long-term success.
