Volunteers must successfully complete a criminal background check and an orientation training to achieve active status. To be a Heart Gallery photographer, you will be required to volunteer at least once annually at a photography session in our region, provide edited photos to THRU Project, and consistently represent the integrity of the Heart Gallery during related activities. Providing your information and headshot to THRU Project for social media spotlighting is optional.
Connect with the foster and adoption support organizations in your community, learn about needs and where you can plug in, and promote awareness in your community.
Heart Gallery success relies on invested community partners who volunteer to host exhibits of child portraits and stories to help increase awareness and build support. We are always open to new places and partners to help host our exhibits.
Join our group of professional photographers that donate their time and talents to photographing children in the Heart Gallery.
